PUPIL PREMIUM / FREE SCHOOL MEALS
You will be aware that all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are currently entitled to a free school meal in line with a new government initiative.
Whilst it is no longer necessary to apply for free school meals, the school receives extra funding called Pupil Premium funding for every eligible child. This really helps your child(ren) because we use the money to fund extra equipment and teaching assistants who then work with small groups of children.
If you receive income support, income based jobseeker's allowance, income related Employment and Support Allowance or Child Tax credit with an income of no more than £16,190 please call in to the school office to complete a short form which will enable the school to gain access to the extra funding available.
